Why Orinthia

A Considered Approach to Adult Learning

Small, Focused Groups

Every programme runs with eight to twelve participants. This keeps discussions grounded and personal, rather than performative.

No Financial Advice

Orinthia is not a financial advisory service. Sessions are purely educational reading and discussion. Participants are encouraged to consult qualified professionals for personalised decisions.

Reading Materials Supplied

Every session comes with curated reading drawn from public documents, scheme guides, and plain-language summaries. No preparation assumed.

Unhurried Schedule

Programmes are spaced to allow time for reflection between sessions — not crammed into a weekend. Adults in mid-life benefit from pacing that suits their existing commitments.

Singapore-Specific Content

All reading material is oriented around Singapore's CPF, MediShield Life, SRS, and local estate and document frameworks. Nothing generic from offshore sources.

Strictly Non-Commercial

There are no product referrals, no commissioned introductions, and no promotional materials within sessions. The focus remains entirely on building vocabulary and reading confidence.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Our Programmes

Who are these programmes designed for? +
Orinthia's programmes are designed for working adults and retirees in Singapore aged 40 and above who want to build their understanding of personal finance vocabulary in a calm, structured setting. No prior financial knowledge is required. The format suits people who prefer reading and conversation over lectures.
Are these financial advisory sessions? +
No. Orinthia is not a financial advisory service and does not hold any advisory licence. All sessions are purely educational in format — reading circles and discussion workshops. Facilitators answer vocabulary and comprehension questions only. Participants requiring personal financial advice are always directed to engage a licenced financial adviser independently.
How do I join a cohort? +
Send us an enquiry through the contact form or call +65 9472 6310. We'll share the upcoming cohort schedule and confirm available places. Payment is arranged once a place is confirmed. Groups are kept small, so we recommend enquiring at least three to four weeks before the programme start date.
Where do sessions take place? +
Sessions are held at our premises at 138 Robinson Road, #14-08, Oxley Tower, Singapore 068906. The venue is accessible by MRT (Tanjong Pagar station) and has lift access. Parking is available in the building. We do not currently offer fully online sessions for our reading circle programmes.
What is your approach to participant privacy? +
We take participant privacy seriously. Personal information shared during enrolment is used only for programme administration. Nothing discussed within reading circle sessions is shared outside the group. We do not record sessions. Our full Privacy Policy is available on this website.
What if I need to withdraw from a programme? +
Withdrawal terms depend on the timing of the request relative to the programme start date. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions or contact us directly to discuss your situation. We handle these matters on a case-by-case basis with consideration for individual circumstances.
